Connecting to PZTTST:G8PZT-1

Telnet

Java

Proxy

There are 3 ways to connect to KIDDER, summarised in the panel on the left. The telnet option invokes your default telnet client, and you must choose this option if your browser is not Java enabled.

There are two options which use a split-screen Java applet. The normal Java option performs a standard Telnet connection to port 23, whilst the proxy option "wraps" the connection in HTTP, allowing it to be used from behind firewalls which block outgoing Telnet connections.

Whilst anyone is welcome to look around this system, U.K. Amateur Radio licencing restrictions prohibit the use of Amateur Radio frequencies by unlicensed people, therefore users with "guest" status are prevented from downlinking to other systems. If you are a licensed Radio Amateur and would like unrestricted access to this system, please email me with your callsign, your choice of password, and a few details about you and your hobby. g8pzt.blueyonder.co.uk
